Yes, you guessed it. It all starts at the beginning. To make an eco-friendly product, we must ensure that our inputs are as environmentally friendly as possible. When it comes to food, organic farming becomes essential. That's why we at DAM have chosen to use only organic ingredients.
We launched DAM drinks in September 2020. Our only product was our unsweetened almond drink, available in a 5kg container. This bucket made 83L of completely zero-waste almond drink, as we collect and reuse the buckets. While zero waste is ideal, our individually wrapped format requires 15x less packaging than a carton of milk. At Dam, we're proud to say our solution is part of the solution.
Where to find bulk DAM
While plant-based drinks are typically 90% water, Dam focuses on the essentials. That's why our concentrated plant-based drinks take up 9 to 15 times less space than other plant-based drinks. This significantly reduces our carbon footprint. For example, while a van can hold 3,000 kg, when filled with DAM, it contains enough to prepare over 40,000 L! If we wanted the same amount of milk in cartons, we would need 15 vans instead of one... You can imagine the difference between the two!
