Is it normal for Dam drinks to separate?
Yes, it's completely normal for our plant-based drinks to separate. Since we retain all the fiber naturally present in the ingredients and don't add any additives to our products, a natural separation phenomenon occurs (a bit like freshly squeezed orange juice!).
Shake your plant-based drink before use and you're done!
How to wash my Dam bottle?
After each use, clean it with a brush and warm, soapy water to remove any plant-milk residue. Then rinse with clear water. You can also wash your bottle in the dishwasher without any problem.

Our products are not organic.
With grocery prices going up everywhere, we didn’t feel comfortable charging more than 6 dollars per liter for our product. Going organic simply wouldn’t make that possible.
That said, we use premium and local ingredients whenever we can.
For example, our sunflower oil is high oleic and our oats are Canadian. -
This is a question we get a lot. We would love to develop new options, but it will probably take another one to two years before they become available.

We recommend using the Dam glass bottle for the ideal experience. But yes, you can definitely use another container, like a Mason jar!

- Plant milks are made of about 90 to 95 percent added water. At Dam, we simply don’t add the water.
- We only work with the core ingredients and let you add the water, whenever you want.
- Our process uses far less energy and our production space is about ten times smaller.
- Our distribution also requires about ten times less space, which gives us a much smaller carbon footprint compared to regular plant milks.
- Plus, you need way less packaging for the same amount of milk.

It all started with our very first product, an almond drink we called DAMande.
Even if we knew we wanted to create other plant milks, we decided to keep the name because the wordplay was just too good to let go.

Yes. All our plant-based drinks are 100% vegan.

Did you know: Because Dam products are designed to be diluted, they’re made to use as few resources as possible from the start.
Our bucket formats are recyclable. And even better, you can return them to our Montréal facilities so we can clean and reuse them.
Our pouches are made with 45% recycled material, but they are not recyclable. To ensure proper product preservation, we had to choose a multi-layer packaging. Unfortunately, this type of packaging isn’t recyclable in Québec.
It was a tough choice, but a necessary one. And if you have ideas to help us improve, we’re always all ears.
